Modulora Mid Century Geometric Wool Rug

Modulora Mid Century Geometric Wool Rug brings together geometric artwork, a confident mid-century-inspired visual language and hand tufted New Zealand wool. Mustard, green accent, off white and orange forms create a vibrant yet balanced composition designed to add structure and color to modern interiors. Its rectangular format and range of sizes make it adaptable to different furniture arrangements while preserving the strong graphic identity of the design.

Mid-Century Geometric Design

Modulora is centered on geometric and artistic forms that create a deliberate relationship between shape, space and color. The composition has the graphic clarity associated with mid-century design while remaining suitable for contemporary interiors. Rather than relying on ornate decoration, the rug uses simplified forms to establish movement and visual structure.

The combination of mustard, green accent, orange and off white gives the design several points of color that can be repeated subtly through cushions, artwork, ceramics or other accessories. Neutral furniture can keep the rug as the primary statement, while carefully selected accent pieces can create a more coordinated scheme.

New Zealand Wool & Hand Tufted Craftsmanship

Modulora is specified as New Zealand wool with hand tufted construction. New Zealand wool is the defined material for this product, while the hand tufted technique supports the detailed development of the geometric artwork.

The combination of material and construction gives the rug a warm, tactile textile presence. It is well suited to interiors where handcrafted materials are part of the overall design language and where the rug needs to function as both a practical floor covering and an artistic surface.

Color Palette & Visual Balance

The specified colors are green accent, mustard, off white and orange. The color mood is described as balanced contrast and vibrant. This means the rug can introduce noticeable color while retaining a sense of visual organization.

Off white areas can create breathing room within the composition, while mustard, orange and green provide stronger points of emphasis. When styling the room, it is generally more effective to echo one or two accent colors rather than attempting to match every shade.

Size, Shape & Room Planning

Modulora is a rectangular rug available in 10×10, 9×12, 9×9, 8×11, 8×10, 8×8, 7×10, 7×7, 6×9, 6×6, 5×8, 5×7, 5×5 and 4×6. The range allows the design to be considered for both larger compositions and more contained room zones.

For a living room, choose a size that relates properly to the seating arrangement. In a bedroom, consider the relationship between the rug, bed and walking areas. The same design can also work in a creative studio or office where its geometric character can complement a design-focused environment.

Where to Use Modulora

Living Room

Use Modulora as a visual anchor beneath a seating arrangement. Clean-lined sofas and natural wood can complement the mid-century direction without competing with the artwork.

Bedroom

In a bedroom, the geometric composition can introduce color and structure while the wool material adds a warm textile layer to the space.

Creative Studio & Office

The artistic and geometric qualities make it particularly suitable for creative studios and offices where the floor can contribute to the visual identity of the room.
